Polymer Magnetic Closure

I applied some canes and Swarovski crystals over a magnetic closure to create a focal bead(s) for one of my bead crocheted ropes.

I really like that - it's such a good idea :)

Great idea! Is it glued or just held in by the clay?

Thank you so much.

The closure was glued on and left to dry for 48 hours. Then I covered it with the polymer and baked it. I pre-tested the baking of the bead crochet stringing material and the beads to see how they would hold up baking. Obviously, a nylon based stringing material wouldn't work and cheap plastic beads don't work.
