Needs Pruning

This was a case of not knowing when to stop.  I'm working on this one currently.  I'm going to try to cut & remove and re-work; do a little pruning.  But, it may be too late.

Flowers & Beads

This was a sweet little kit that came with everything but the beads.  The beads catch the light and add another dimension.

Embellish With Beads

I used to do a lot of silk ribbon embroidery.  I loved the textures, colors and the fact that I could add beads to embellish it.
Beads were the icing on the cake.

Eeeek! Not More Bead Crochet!

I finished a new detachable fringe to go with this necklace.  I liked the bead crochet necklace by itself, but loved it with the detachable fringe.
The detachable fringe can be worn alone, or attached to any necklace.

Big Cane, Little Cane

 5" x 5" cane reduced to.........teeny tiny
Below are the "in between" reductions
Below are some brooches made from the cane.
One of these days I want to make another big cane.  I made this one quite a while ago, but it still comes in handy for teaching.

Freeform Peyote

I have worked on this freeform peyote necklace on and off for a long time.  Needs more weight/volume to balance out the big bead.  But, at this point, I'm pretty tired of it and will salvage what I can and cut my losses.

Here We Go Loop De Loop

I made this necklace in 2010.  It is one of Judy Atwell's beautiful designs that was featured in Jewelry Crafts Magazine in 2008.
I used sterling silver wire and cones and finished it with some vintage beads.

Dollar for Dollar

Cabela's sporting goods is matching each dollar donated to the disaster relief fund to aid the Yarnell families and communities devastated by the Yarnell wildfire.  Volunteers were outside in Arizona's 108 degree heat all weekend grilling up plenty of food for their benefit barbecue and also handing out water.   Thank you Cabela's!!
Also, thank you to The Arizona Community Foundation, in partnership with its affiliated Yavapai County Community Foundation, who is matching gifts to its Disaster Relief Fund, dollar for dollar, up to $125,000 to address needs resulting from the wildfire currently burning in Yarnell, Arizona.  Click www.azfoundation.org/yarnellfire for more information.

Color Me Happy

I created what I thought was a black and white check pattern using DB-Bead software for bead crochet, but it worked up in parallel lines.  I'm so happy with it.  Love when that happens.
