Old fishing lures and bobbers relating to the vintage photos. I loved these two framed collections.
Eye glasses suspended from the ceiling. All left by customers. Interesting the way the sunlight reflected off the glasses; it was pretty.

Blueberry Hills
Lunch with friends overlooking the blueberry orchards in Chelan, Washington. I had a hamburger with blueberry mayonnaise and a salad full of blueberries. Didn't expect to like the blueberry mayo, but it was so delicious, I ordered it again on our return trip.
Shadow box table full of vintage ephemera. Old 45 records hanging in the restroom hallway. Oldies but goodies.

Hate to say, I recognized a lot of these items from long ago.

Blueberry Hills, Chelan, Washington
We went to Chelan a couple of times during our stay in Twisp. Can't go to Chelan without stopping at Blueberry Hills for a meal. Photos of the restaurant tomorrow, but wanted to post the blueberry fields.
We passed this house located across the highway from the ocean. The purple of those bushes was so intense set against the different greens. Gorgeous.
Wisteria and Pansies were planted all around the restaurant. You can pick your own blueberries or have one of their pickers do it for you. Yeah, I chose the latter.

Canola Fields
Unbelievably gorgeous! The photos do not do it justice. The color of the yellow was breath taking!
I was sad to see it harvested. The purple wild flowers next to that field of yellow just made my heart skip a beat!

Deer, Chickens & Turkeys....Oh My!!!
I was shopping at a boutique in Twisp and walked out to find deer munching on a nearby tree. Right in town!
Then, as we were turning onto the road that goes down to the valley, three more. We camped in Twisp 31 days and we saw deer every one of those 31 days. At least 15-20 times, one jumped out on the road in front of traffic. Never saw one get hit, but unbelievable how dangerous it was.
We saw wild turkeys and chickens almost every day too. Love being in the country.

Sheri's in Winthrop
We ate at Sherri's several times. Fresh home made ice cream, gourmet coffee, bakery goods and a candy shop.
Unique seating.
And a traversing fountain.

Twisp Area
The road we took down to the valley. Snow covered mountains, colorful fields and beautiful pine trees lining the road.

Sight Seeing
Got our trailer all set up with the outside kitchen, table and chairs and then headed out to Winthrop.
A country quaint little town about 20 minutes away from Twisp. Wonderful stores with inspiration galore. The sidewalks and store fronts were weathered boards.

Final Destination
We finally arrived after two weeks on the road! That's our little trailer waaaaay down there in the valley! No wi-fi or cell. Ugh! We had to drive up to the top of the mountain to get any reception.
Our dogs were so happy to finally be in one spot. They were exhausted!
Our trailer is on a little hill on the left, friends Barb and Syd in the middle and our friends Dick and Sharon from Arizona are on the right. Slept for a couple of days before we started sight seeing.

Arriving in Twisp, Washington
Twisp River
We took the low road to our destination.
We followed our friends from Arizona all the way to Twisp, Washington. They own some land in Twisp and have installed water, electric and sewer for RV hook-ups. They invited us to stay on their land for a few weeks during the summer. Almost there.

En Route To Twisp, Washington
We drove between 3 to 4 hours each day just so we could spend a little time at each RV park.
We stopped at this scenic overpass to stretch our legs and take our dogs for a walk.

Magnificent Mountains
Taken with my iPhone out the car window. I saw three waterfalls, but couldn't get a decent photo.
Amazing scenery en route to Washington.

Port of Arlington, Oregon
Literally parked yards from the water. I took a walk in the morning on a paved path all the way around the harbor.
We wanted to get up early to get on the road to our final destination, so I didn't mind the trucks with their "beep, beep, beep" in the morning as they backed up to the silos and began dumping grain.
Can't wait to get to our destination of Twisp, Washington.

One Last Kiwanda
Like Morro Bay, Cape Kiwanda also has a rock!
The galleries were closed during the week. Disappointing, but I got a quick photo through the window of this beautiful quote.
My hubby feeding a wild rabbit. There were brown and black bunnies all over the place. So sweet. The end of of Cape Kiwanda adventures. On to Port of Arlington, Oregon.

Kiwanda
Spacious RV sites and quiet neighbors make for a happy camper.
Breakfast oceanside.
Just had to take a photo of this unique camper/home. They pulled up, parked it and took off for the beach. Free spirits.

More Cape Kiwanda
Ocean breezes and blue skies everyday. Loved it.
