I'm sculpting more mermaids. I'm using translucent polymer clay on glass vessels. I'm trying to finish some projects before I go for elbow and wrist surgery on Tuesday.

Polymer Journeys 2016
I am honored to be one of the polymer artists featured in Sage Bray's beautiful book on the Art and Craft of Polymer 2016. It is a must have for every polymer artist. Full of educational information and inspiring photos. What a wonderful experience this has been; thank you Sage Bray!

The Polymer Arts
I am thrilled beyond words to be included in the Spring issue of The Polymer Arts Magazine. What an honor!
I recently had successful knee replacement, but developed a skin infection and ended up back in the hospital for several days. So, when this arrived in the mail today, it made my day. If you love polymer clay, you will love The Polymer Arts Magazine. You can also follow along on Facebook: The Polymer Arts

Needle Felted Bunny
Much to be learned about the art of needle felting. It's fun learning. I finished bunny, satisfied with it and then thought, "It needs a bit of blush". I couldn't get the blush applied evenly and applied too much in some areas and not enough in others. By then, I decided to chalk it up to a learning experience and leave it well enough alone. Thanks for lending an ear.

Felted Mice & Cheese
I made some felted mice and a wedge of cheese to go with my Wine & Cheese centerpiece.
I am having so much fun with this needle felting. I joined the Arizona Felters Guild. I'm still sculpting with polymer clay and beading, but couldn't help giving this a try.

Doll Head Pincushion
Felted pincushion in altered doll's head, Apoxie Sculpt base. This pincushion is more "me". It's happy face and funky hair sits on my work table. I loved making this.

Clowning Around
I made these fun Clown Rings in the wonderful Leslie Blackford's workshop at Clay Carnival last August. You can read more about Clay Carnival in LasVegas, Nevada by clicking HERE. It is tentatively set for October 12 - 15, 2016. I'm hoping to go again.

Google Friend Connect Discontinued by Blogger
CAN'T COMMENT OR FOLLOW A BLOG? Here's why:
"...starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.
We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers."

We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.

-----------
This has been happening over time. I have lost a lot of followers and couldn't understand why. Now I know. At this point, I don't know what good it does to post this in a blog post when those affected will not be able to see the post. But, I will do as Mr. Goddard suggests and hope for the best.
