Morro Bay, California

 Peaceful, clean, invigorating, gorgeous Morro Bay.

 We stayed here two days, two nights and just enjoyed!  Barefoot walks in the sand, dipping our toes in the freezing cold ocean and eating fresh seafood oceanside.  We made plans to stop here again on our return trip home.

Bakersfield, California

En route to Bakersfield, California, oil drill after oil drill; prehistoric looking, almost alien.

 The RV Park had hundreds of orange trees planted to give privacy between RV's.

It was short, but sweet.

Trip To Washington

 Started on May 28th from Sun City West, Arizona and headed to Laughlin, Nevada.  Temperature was still in the triple digits, but it was beautiful.

 We had lunch and dinner at the casino and got a good night's sleep before heading out in the morning to Bakersfield, California.

Santa, Sleigh & Stocking

I purchased this Santa and sleigh over 20 years ago at Red Oaks furniture store in Long Grove, Illinois.  I loved that store.  So much inspiration and beauty.  Santa stands about 20" tall and the sleigh is 18" tall, 24" long and 10 wide.   

Santa's bagful of toys was a great find at Goodwill this year along with the 36" sequined stocking.
