I made this necklace by using alcohol inks over a resist and then adding a crackle liquid. The wrap-overs and beads are textured with a heavy grit sandpaper. Eyelash yarn is tied between the beads.
Detail photos of the texturing, painting and crackle.
I've been away, am just catching up here. I don't wear large jewelry pieces, but appreciate this necklace as a work of art. I love it's colors and textures, and the somewhat ancestral and tribal look of it. Good luck with the computer!
ReplyDeletequel magnifique collier, j'aime beaucoup l'effet obtenu!
ReplyDeleteHey Marlene,
ReplyDeleteLast week when I was out for Lunch with one of my friends she showed me the recent copy of Polymer Cafe. She was so "impressionée" when I told her that I knew you and also another AZ clay member who had articles published in the same magazine. Kudos kiddo!
