Polymer Cafe Magazine

What a great way to start 2011! Above is my polymer clay chocolate candy centerpiece featured in the current issue of Polymer Cafe' magazine. You can order the magazine HERE. Polymer Cafe' magazine is full of polymer clay information, inspiration, tutorials, resource websites, photos and articles. There is a Readers' Gallery for you to share your polymer clay work and a polymer clay challenge to enter. Lisa Pavelka has an informative section in every issue where she answers your questions regarding polymer clay. There is vendor information on products, retreats, conferences and shows. Polymer Cafe' is published 6 times a year and is a bargain! Can you tell I'm just a little ecstatic?

  1. Marlene, this is incredible! I enlarged it twice and now have questions. You wrote all about the magazine, but I now want to know more about this lovely centerpiece. Is everything on it made of polymer -- the little flowers, stems, chocolates? It's beautiful!

  2. Thank you my friend. Just the chocolates and icings are made with polymer. The little flowers and leaves were purchased, cut up and glued in. Michael's and JoAnn's sell the little bunches of small flowers. I've made more than one of these and have also used spanish moss (also at craft stores) to fill in and add texture. I'm glad you liked it.

  3. As wonderfully detailed as your work is, it wouldn't have surprised me if even the little flowers and leaves were sculpted. That said, those chocolates with icings look good enough to eat!

I've been out of town and had to update my blog and email accounts so I now have new ones.
I just finished my new blog...you may want to update that on your blog. Oh...I am working on the newsletter. I can't seem to find your Squiggle Beads picture. I would like to include it in the newsletter. Could you email it when you get a chance?
