No. It's how I feel. I'm having minor surgery next week on my face to remove some skin cancer.
It's the third time in the same place and the last surgery was extensive, so I am scared. But then, I am a bit of a drama queen. I'm still working on my sculpture for the art show which is due on Thursday. It should be interesting to say the least considering how I feel.
Saying a prayer for you this morning. No shame in being scared...Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I am sorry you are having to go through that!! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts for the next few weeks and hope that all will go smoothly!! Love, Silke
ReplyDeleteLOL -- with your recent incredible eye for inspiration from rocks, I'd be surprised if it was anything BUT. Is this a poured medium? Not sure how you did this one. Drama queens are the most creative artists. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you my friends, I appreciate it. I hand sculpted the face and all the barnacles, vines, larvae and surface embellishments, but used a mold I made of coral for the flat base. I used a pin, etc. for texturing. I think I will post a short "how to" tomorrow. Thanks again. -Marlene
ReplyDeleteOh no, that is scary....you will be in my thoughts!
ReplyDeleteI love all the textures in this piece. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your surgery (((hugs)))
You know my thoughts are going to be with you. I wake up every day, asking myself, what day is it, is it your surgery day?
ReplyDeleteLet me know how it goes, sweet friend.
