Tiger Cuff Bracelet

I stopped at Goodwill the other day and picked up some beat up cuff bracelets; perfect for covering with cane slices. I painted on some liquid clay (upper left corner) and let it sit for 10 minutes while I made a cane sheet. Ran it through the pasta machine and then cut a strip to apply to the cuff. I trimmed the edges, baked it and voila--a new bracelet!

  1. And that's it? It sticks? I am having some trouble making metal stick to polymer. Wonder what I am doing wrong.

    Lovely bracelet by the way.

  2. You make it sound so easy! Lovely accessory, and reminiscent of one of my favorite lovely animals.

  3. Roberta...normally I would scratch (score) the surface of any metal I'm applying polymer to, but the shape of this bracelet should keep it secure. We'll see.
