The beginning of "
Broomhilda". I applied paper
mache' over a balloon. When dry, I popped the balloon and cut a hole for the
pvc pipe. I applied polymer clay over the paper
mache', sculpted the features, inserted the glass eyes and baked. I made this life size polymer head a couple of years ago for a 7' sculpture to go in my art fair booth. I've used it a couple of times, but am liking this the best. The wrecked face fits
Broomhilda the best. I definitely need to get her a broom and a hat!
Very expressive face. I love her!
ReplyDeleteI am speechless! And frightened:))
ReplyDeleteYeah, she's a scary one for sure. Thank you both for commenting.
ReplyDeleteunbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Broomhilda :) Definitely find her a broom at least... every well dressed witch has one!
ReplyDeleteSo... where do you find the wonderful glass eyes? I've been wanting to play around with those and my polymer, but haven't had any luck finding them local.
