Radiating Love

"Whatever you do, do with kindness. Whatever you say, say with kindness. Wherever you go, radiate with kindness." --Jonathan Lockwood Huie A radiating design. Beautiful. I made a two part silicone mold of the colander and made the polymer clay heart yesterday. Today's pin was made by pressing polymer clay into the bottom of the colander. Since I used the colander to press the polymer clay into for the second pin, I will have to "dedicate" this old colander specifically for polymer clay. I will use a tin snips to cut it into sections.

  1. Honestly, what you can do with the most common of household items is a joy to behold!

    1. Thank you Roberta. I'd hate to count the molds (impressions) I have taken over the years. Boxes full.

  2. You are amazing, Marlene! I picture you going around your home opening drawers and doors just to find things you haven't used yet, am I right? This radiates no end, I can feel it!

    1. Radiates no end.....cute. No, I don't go around opening drawers and doors just to find things....ok, maybe sometimes. hehe This morning I saw a great pattern in the side of the tray the hamburger meat came in. So, I am washing, drying, photographing and taking a mold. Scary.

  3. Well, I have a bone to pick with you now, Marlene. I was shopping/browsing with my husband yesterday, we were in what we call one of the "junk stores" (you know the kind -- dollar stores, odd lots, etc.) and I said to him "Why do we like these stores so much?!" I mean, they all have the same offensive odor, and they are crowded with no organization. But then I found myself in the kitchen section, and my brain started seeing things that this would make a nice pattern, that would make a nice shape, etc. He looked at blankly, and I just said "Blame Marlene". LOL!
