So, on the 4th try of drafting this pattern, I think I have it. And, yes, it took crocheting about 3" to 4" all four times before the mistakes surfaced. Rip out, re-string and start again. Happy now. I will clean up the pattern and post it sometime this week.
Wow, seeing the tedious notes and hearing about your frustrating process makes me feel like a slug. You go, girl, it's beautiful! I love the name too, perfect!
ReplyDeleteSo evocative of Summer and warmth! Good for the ones living in Winter down under. I love this Marlene!
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy and Barbara.
ReplyDeletehow strong it this type of necklace?? I would love to make some reins for my horse like this!! --kristina
ReplyDeleteWow, what a creative mind and how beautiful and unusual it would be. I use Tuff Cord#2 and so far it is the strongest and most durable stringing material for me. I think if your horse is extremely sensitive to light handed guidance and it would be for straight riding like a parade, it would be possible. Good luck. I would love a photo if you do it. - Marlene
