Yes, I'm still working on the other sample rope, but in the meantime, I spotted
Alicja Korsarzewska's pattern (click HERE) for a Cellini Bead Crochet and had to try it. I have already torn out the above piece and started another. Actually, I started 6….all epic fails and tore them out. I'm stringing my 7th, so we will see.
I had to go look at the pattern page. Wow! I will tell YOU to keep at it because I wouldn't even consider it. But there are some lovely designs there.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gene. I know, aren't her patterns wonderful? She is so talented.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a but like mindfulness meditation Marlene? You can't think of ANYTHING else. Looks beautiful and I love those Tibetan turquoise and coral colours!
ReplyDeleteYes Wendy…it is a bit like mindfulness meditation. I do get irritated with myself because I am obsessing. I really want to conquer this, but it is kicking my butt.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly girl, are you insane? Lol, just kidding. I know it's genius, not insanity. But even enjoying beading, I could not ever try this. Actually, right now I'm fighting the demons of obsession in all areas of my life. Trying to be more flexible since I'm feeling life is too short. How did I get into my 70s so quickly? I was 16 just yesterday. Lol! Back to your work. All of that said, I admire your dedication and know you will get it right. Love your bead colors!
ReplyDeleteOh Barbara, I feel the same way; just not enough time in one day….and time is passing too quickly!
