Paintbrush Necklace

Our local art club has a "free" box in which members can give away old brushes, paints, containers, etc.  I dug for treasures and came up with a beautiful, beat up 1" paint brush.  A little Apoxie Sculpt (resin clay) to attach the half head and arms and a little black paint and she was ready for her debut.

Your imagination has no limit, Marlene! My thought on seeing this brush come to life is a whole cast of children's book characters, each one of them an art tool. This is a great Mama, and Papa might be a 2" inch brush. A palette knife could be family pet (dachshund?). Kiddies might be different colored dabs of paint on a palette, which of course would be their playground. I promise to stop now, but my thought is to get kids interested early! LOL
