Backgrounds

I wasn't happy with the photograph of the bead crochet necklace set against the black acrylic, so I purchased the white acrylic also.  My thinking was it would give a softer appearance.  Now, I don't know.  I think I am liking the white acrylic just because it's a new toy.

A new toy? Lol...I like them both. When in doubt though, I usually go with the most contrast.
Thanks for catching up with me, glad you are doing better.

No reason you can't show both versions when appropriate, Marlene (cover all your bases).

In this case, I like the dark background better, but I think it's smart to have both available because it's often difficult to predict which will be more successful. And if you find a good neutral mid-grey mat board or acrylic, you'd probably use that as well, lol!

This is a great demonstration!

Thank you all! Now, I am on the lookout for a mid-grey neutral!! I sure enjoy taking photos and like getting the feedback, so thank you.

Marlene, sobre el acrílico blanco realzan los colores, visualmente. Sobre el negro se verían mejor los colores mas claros del trabajo.Es mi opinión. Saludos cordiales.
