Kitchen Rug=Necklace

I finished the kitchen rug necklace. I made some polymer clay beads to complete the design and I have to say, I am very happy with this piece.
Below was the first layer of paint.
Below is the indoor-outdoor kitchen rug I took a mold of.
Below is the mold. Amazing how it can go from that to the top photo. I love that necklace.

A very interesting and lovely conversation piece that I can see with just the right casual outfit. I'm sure you will continue to find some creative uses for that kitchen rug, will be watching!

Such creative and visually exciting piece. Who else but you would have looked at a kitchen rug, seen the possibilities, and pulled it off so masterfully. I'll now be looking for potential cool molds much more carefully. Congratulations on your PCD feature. Well deserved!
