I just painted a few strokes of bright acrylic colors on it and it was done. If I do this one again, I would back fill it with polymer instead of the paint. I wanted a mandala look to it, but the bad painting job I did gives it a rudimentary look that I don't like. Nonetheless, it was fun.
A small piece of paper and string fiber that I made a mold of. The polymer pendant is highlighted with acrylic paint to give a "mica" like finish. Even though it isn't technically wallpaper, I'm sticking with the name.
I took this mold from a piece of natural fiber that could be applied to a wall, but I use it in collages. It looked like skin to me so a face emerged.
Faux tooled leather.
After making a mold (far right) of the wallpaper (center), I used the scrap clay on the left to press into the mold, ran a tracing wheel around it, poked the hanging holes in it, then I baked it. After it cooled, I antiqued it with acrylic paints and baked again. I added feathers, jump rings and a leather cord. It was fun.
Textures made by the two wallpaper molds below. I put scrap polymer clay through the pasta machine until it was gray and used it as the base.
Rolled out a sheet of the gray clay, laid Wallpaper Pattern A mold on the bottom and Wallpaper Pattern B mold on the top and gently pressed them into the raw clay. I used Pearl Ex Antique Copper to lightly highlight the pattern on both sides and then I cut out three sizes of circles. Poked a hole and baked them.
Attached the copper jump rings and strung them on a coppery chain I purchased at Michael's.

Nope, still not feeling good, but got this done. This has a nice tooled leather look to it. I like it a lot. I had a big sheet of this wallpaper, but only have a couple pieces left so I am glad I made an impression of it. That's all I got today.
I'm a little under the weather and hoping by tomorrow this bug will be gone. I'm not feeling so hot (ha, Arizona joke).
I use different two part silicone putty mixtures, but this one is reasonable and seems to last a long time. The most important thing to remember is to let it sit 5 to 10 minutes after you apply it to your object.
All my wallpapers reacted differently to the putty. The "raw" papers I lightly sprayed with a sealant and let dry. Then I sprayed them with some mold release. I learned this after not being able to remove the putty from the paper below. You can see my nail marks on the side of the yellow mold where I was prying it away from the paper.
It made a nice mold and I will take this a step further tomorrow (hopefully).
Supaglypta and Anaglypta are highly textured and/or deeply embossed wallpapers. I use various wallpapers in my collages occasionally, but usually use handmade papers.........
or natural fibers, such as the ones below.

Yes, you know where this is going. Tomorrow a couple more collage papers and then.....to the laboratory for some experiments.
