Polymer Necklace Slide

I slipped the corral and jade beads through the back of the polymer clay faux jade/cinnabar enhancer and slid it up to the top.  I secured it between the coral and it wears beautifully.  Not quite a bolo, not quite an enhancer, but a necklace slide.

I really like the enhancer with these bead selections, Marlene. How do you do the back so it is secure? What a versatile piece asd such different looks depending on the beads you pair it with!

Thank you Paula. I'm loving it too. It has turned out to be the most versatile piece I've made. I've worn it with scarves and it is stays. It is just buna cord on the back….but a continuous circle; half buried in polymer and the other half of the circle is exposed.

It looks fabulous Marlene. I assume you don't bake the Buna in but glue it after baking?? And how do you make a continuous circle of Buna? Can you glue the ends? Whatever you have done it has made for a very versatile piece.

Thank you Wendy. I'm working on filming my class for Polymer Clay Adventure and leaving for another polymer clay retreat in Prescott, AZ. I probably won't be posting for about a week. I want to post more on this finishing as it has become my favorite.
