Tab Necklace

I made this necklace by using alcohol inks over a resist and then adding a crackle liquid.  The wrap-overs and beads are textured with a heavy grit sandpaper.  Eyelash yarn is tied between the beads.
Detail photos of the texturing, painting and crackle.

I've been away, am just catching up here. I don't wear large jewelry pieces, but appreciate this necklace as a work of art. I love it's colors and textures, and the somewhat ancestral and tribal look of it. Good luck with the computer!

Hey Marlene,
Last week when I was out for Lunch with one of my friends she showed me the recent copy of Polymer Cafe. She was so "impressionée" when I told her that I knew you and also another AZ clay member who had articles published in the same magazine. Kudos kiddo!
