This is my piece from the Laurie Mika workshop. Some copper nails, heat set crystals, gold leaf, mica powders and acrylic paint. Laurie's website is Mika Arts. And, yes, I bought her book and she took time to sign it. She was funny, resourceful, professional and patient. To say it was great fun would be an understatement.

Art Unraveled

This is beautiful!
I love this piece. Lauris is coming to Valley Ridge, here is Wisconsin, sometime in September. I would love to take her class. I have her book Mixed Media Mosaics but haven't done anything with it read except drool over the pages. Found your blog through Barbara's. I'll be back. :)Bea
