No. It's how I feel. I'm having minor surgery next week on my face to remove some skin cancer.
It's the third time in the same place and the last surgery was extensive, so I am scared. But then, I am a bit of a drama queen. I'm still working on my sculpture for the art show which is due on Thursday. It should be interesting to say the least considering how I feel.

Saying a prayer for you this morning. No shame in being scared...Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I am sorry you are having to go through that!! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts for the next few weeks and hope that all will go smoothly!! Love, Silke
LOL -- with your recent incredible eye for inspiration from rocks, I'd be surprised if it was anything BUT. Is this a poured medium? Not sure how you did this one. Drama queens are the most creative artists. ;)
Thank you my friends, I appreciate it. I hand sculpted the face and all the barnacles, vines, larvae and surface embellishments, but used a mold I made of coral for the flat base. I used a pin, etc. for texturing. I think I will post a short "how to" tomorrow. Thanks again. -Marlene
Oh no, that is scary....you will be in my thoughts!
I love all the textures in this piece. It is beautiful.
Good luck with your surgery (((hugs)))
You know my thoughts are going to be with you. I wake up every day, asking myself, what day is it, is it your surgery day?
Let me know how it goes, sweet friend.

It's the 28th. I have a whole week to wind myself up. Thank goodness I have an art competition this weekend to be hyper at. Thanks for all your well wishes and those who emailed me separately....I truly appreciate the support.-Marlene
I'm here for you and always will be dear friend...
as with the other medical procedures you have been so "blessed" with having to endure...
I pray and am sure, you will come through this one beautifully.
BIG HUGS!
