the sweet warmth of yellow.....
and the quiet of green. Today is quiet reflection for me. Sorting projects and photos, setting priorities and making decisions. My Bead Journal Project has fallen to the wayside. Three final pieces sit halfway done from 2010 and I'm already behind two months for 2011. I am giving myself today to come up with a prototype of a manageable monthly piece. Kind of a "Write it down and make it happen" theory.

I surely needed these beautiful warm photos on this cold day! Your BJP project ideas will surface again. Last year when I got tired of the monthly project I chose, so I decided this year that I must have 2 rules -- making something I enjoy making *all* the time (not just in order to complete a necessary BJP piece with a sigh of relief); and manageability is key for me. Without those two things, I'd not be able to take part again. Enjoy your day of reflection!

Some of my best work came from picking up a piece I hadn't finished in months. You just never know. I now have a basket set aside for unfinished pieces, I dig through it weekly.
I do like the 2 rules above, too.
