I've started a black and white edging on the sides of the bracelet, but I'm not that happy with this piece. I was experimenting with the clamps and polymer clay. This size clamp is meant for
delicas, not these larger beads. But, it's been fun, as always.

I've learned the same lesson - get the right stuff for the project. I am just teaching myself to beadweave and have made a couple bracelets from magazine features. I love herringbone. I've also done even and odd peyote, and most recently square stitch.
Thanks for the book recommend - I've been looking for a 'primer' to teach me the basics.
Check out some of my learning curve bracelets:

I love reading your blog because you work in so many media. I think I found it following a link from PolymerClay Daily. Thanks so much for blogging about your process. I have been a closet artisan for many years, but never wanted to show any work to anyone.

What a clever idea! I've never seen anyone cover these clamps with polymer clay before. Can see all kinds of potential for something like that. Great job!
Thank you both for such nice comments. Cindy, I am so flattered, thank you. - Marlene
